The removal of the option to mark several items for auto-sale at once was a major change to Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ new quality-of-life features. With its well-received March 20 release, Assassin’s Creed Shadows has dominated the sales rankings for the past three weeks running. This is the main reason why the game is the second best-selling game of 2025, just after Capcom’s Monster Hunter Wilds.
An overwhelming number of enhancements, bug fixes, and useful new features were introduced to Assassin’s Creed Shadows in the game’s first big patch, which was released earlier this month, on April 8. The ability for players’ horses to follow the pathfinder line without their intervention is known as auto-follow and is one of the new features. An additional significant issue has been resolved with the Hideout framerate. It was previously mistakenly limited to 30 FPS in the performance setting, which caused some noticeable jerking while visiting the player-created space. Making gear management in menus a little less clumsy, the option to tag numerous things to sell or disassemble all at once was perhaps the most beneficial change that arrived with the patch.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows introduced Yasuke, who is completely new to the game; here’s hoping Ubisoft brings the same entertaining idea to Far Cry.
Ubisoft has temporarily removed the previously implemented multi-sell option in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, according to a new patch called Title Update 1.0.3. The developer says it was due to “unexpected issues.” Ubisoft failed to clarify the reasoning behind the feature’s removal and failed to offer any kind of estimated time of arrival (ETA) for the quality-of-life feature’s possible comeback in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Thanks to Ubisoft’s language in the patch notes, players may still disassemble unneeded gear at the Hideout’s Forge for more resources. The only change is that it expressly mentions multi-selling in stores. While we wait for auto-selling to return, Title Update 1.0.3 offers a few more fixes that should suffice for the time being. A bizarre issue with the Claw of the Dragon weapon skin generating crashes has been fixed, and a glitch with bringing Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ ally characters into combat has also been addressed. The latest patch also fixes problems with HDR and PSSR, so it’s useful for PS5 Pro users.
The multi-sell function, which players loved in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, will be removed in an upcoming version. Ubisoft has already set the release date of Claws of Awaji, a narrative DLC for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, for later this year. For updates on the next patch and the Claws of Awaji downloadable content, Assassin’s Creed fans may follow Ubisoft on social media.
